During my time in university, amidst the invaluable period of delving into professional knowledge, I closely followed the guidance of my mentor and approached research with a rigorous attitude. I was honored to participate in the writing and publication of two academic papers: “Computing Content and Communication: Public Opinion in the Age of Integrated Media and Governance” and “Multidimensional Study of ‘Friends’ Based on Narrative Art”.
I studied at the School of Jackie Chan Movie&Media college, Wuhan Institute of Design and Sceince, from September 2021 to June 2025, majoring in Film and television photography and production. During my time at university, I not only focused on learning professional knowledge but also actively participated in various practical activities to enhance my overall abilities. In regular group projects, I often took on the roles of producer and editor, both of which I developed a strong interest in.
At the invitation of teachers and classmates, I participated in the “first public programming” event at Wuhan Design Engineering University, where I served as the leader of the filming team. From pre-production to on-site execution, I was responsible for the division of labor and setup for each camera position, as well as managing team members to ensure that the workflow ran smoothly and efficiently.
In terms of practical experience, I have worked in the photography department of Fuzhou Chang Geng Film & Culture Media Co., Ltd., serving as both Assistant Director and Executive Director. As an Assistant Director, I was responsible for organizing shooting scripts for promotional videos, short films, and other productions, acting as a communication bridge between the director and various departments. During my time as an Executive Director, I led the team independently in producing a public service announcement video and was also involved in the creation and post-production editing of several competition entries.
Additionally, I interned at Wushan (Fujian) Cultural Media Co., Ltd., in both the New Media Operations and Photography departments, taking on roles as New Media Operator and Photography Assistant. In the New Media Operations position, I worked with colleagues to manage the official Douyin (TikTok) and WeChat video accounts for “Fuzhou New District,” while also contributing to the creation of short videos. As a Photography Assistant, I assisted colleagues with filming tasks and helped organize and manage the shooting materials.
In terms of awards, I participated in the National advertising art design competition for college students in July 2023 and won a Provincial Excellence Award. As the project leader, I was responsible for researching China Unicom’s brand tone, designing an advertising script that aligned with the brand’s image, and completing the post-production editing of the advertisement.
During my internship, I also worked with my colleagues to win the second prize in the “Golden Phoenix Leads” Live Streaming Short Video Creative Skills Competition for the Huangqi Peninsula Tour, as well as the third prize in the 2023 Fuzhou Public Service Advertising Competition (Social Group, Video Category). In these competitions, I took on roles as Assistant Director and Executive Director, which allowed me to gain valuable practical experience.
I possess a range of personal skills. I am proficient in office software such as Word, as well as graphic design and layout tools like Photoshop (PS) and Illustrator (AI). Additionally, I am skilled in professional editing software such as Premiere Pro (PR) and DaVinci Resolve. Furthermore, I am capable of independently creating posters. These skills have provided strong support for both my professional studies and practical work.
In addition to my studies and professional work, I have collaborated with friends to manage a fan merchandise business, specifically focusing on group purchases of celebrity-themed plush dolls. Each sale event typically involved over 500 units sold. Leveraging my strong online awareness, I was able to accurately capture market trends and gain a deep understanding of the needs and preferences of our target audience.
To support the sales, my friend and I operated a specialized social media account, maintaining consistent engagement and visibility. Through carefully planned integrated marketing strategies, precise audience targeting, and efficient operational management, we successfully increased the product’s visibility and appeal, leading to steady growth in our customer base.
During the promotional phase, I made full use of my expertise in film production, personally photographing and creating a series of high-quality promotional images for the dolls. During the sale events, I applied my skills with tools like Photoshop (PS) and Illustrator (AI) to design clear and attractive sale announcements and buying guides, ensuring accurate communication of information. Additionally, I actively managed customer relations in pre-sale and post-sale groups, utilizing my excellent communication skills to maintain strong engagement with our customer base.
In addition to my professional studies and practice, I joined the Swag G Dance Troupe of the Student Art Troupe at Wuhan Design Engineering University, where I served as a leader. I was responsible for organizing and managing a dance performance with over twenty performers during the University Art Festival. I also collaborated with the art troupe in organizing and participating in various campus activities, including the New Year’s Eve Gala, Cultural Festival performances, and campus promotional video shoots.
This experience not only honed my organizational and coordination skills but also taught me how to effectively contribute to a team and play my part in ensuring the success of collective projects.
In terms of personality, I am optimistic, open-minded, and have a wide range of interests. I possess strong adaptability and good physical fitness. I get along well with my classmates and enjoy helping others. I approach my work with a conscientious and responsible attitude, and I have strong learning abilities, which allow me to complete tasks efficiently and effectively.
I also place great emphasis on teamwork and actively participate in school and class activities, where I make sure to contribute and fully engage in the success of the projects.
